A Useful Idiot

Marjorie Taylor Greene wants a round of applause for “standing up to Trump” on releasing the Epstein files, but let’s not get amnesia. This is the same woman who strutted around Congress performing for the MAGA base, barking at Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a Black woman, with all the fake courage she could muster. She had no problem being loud, rude, and reckless when the target was a Black woman she thought she could bully.

But the minute Donald Trump turned his fire on her, called her a traitor, and threatened to endorse someone to primary her, all that fake bravado evaporated. Suddenly, the woman who claimed she feared nothing tucked her tail between her legs and announced she wouldn’t even run for reelection. That’s not courage. That’s not conviction. That’s not “standing up to Trump.” That’s what a fraud looks like when the cult leader snaps his fingers.



She gets zero credit for parting with him on one issue after walking in lockstep with his entire extremist agenda — including Project 2025, attacks on Black and Brown communities, and policies designed to drag this country backward.

If she wants praise, she can get it from the MAGA fan club. But the rest of us see her exactly for what she is: loud when she thinks she’s powerful, silent when Trump pulls the plug. A bully who folds the moment the bully-in-chief barks back.
